Man Utd News: The Glazer family appears to cave in, they’re open to selling Manchester United

Hours after parting ways with one of their historic figures, like Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United’s ownership has announced they’ll be exploring strategic alternatives to boost the club and having it best interests in mind, that could include accepting investment of selling the club entirely.

The Glazer family owns Manchester United since 2005, but they’ve face fierceful opposition to their ownership, specially after the club acquired a huge amount of debt after they applied a leveraged buy-out.

Manchester United released a statement from the Glazer’s

This Tuesday, Manchester United and the Glazer family announced that the club’s board is commencing the process of exploring strategic alternatives for the team, a process that is designed to enhance Manchester United’s future growth, with the ultimate goal of positioning the club to capitalize on opportunities both on the pitch and commercially.

“As part of this process, the board will consider all strategic alternatives, including new investment into the club, a sale, or other transactions involving the company.”

Manchester United could be sold for over $2.5 billion british pounds, the selling price that Chelsea had, just a few months ago.

Jim Ratcliffe, a British billionaire has raised his hand in the past and shown his interest in buying the team, but his latest comments referred to the Glazer family refusing to sell the club, but perhaps now it’s different.

“We will evaluate all options to ensure that we best serve our fans and that Manchester United maximizes the significant growth opportunities available to the club today and in the future. Throughout this process we will remain fully focused on serving the best interests of our fans, shareholders, and various stakeholders”, was expressed by the Glazer family.

World Cup 2022: Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Tom Brady: Who will retire as a champion before retiring?

The careers of both Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and Manchester United‘s Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo are living their last moments, of that there is no doubt. With the World Cup just days away, it is prudent to ask ourselves, which is more likely, TB12 retiring with his eighth Super Bowl or CR7 becoming a world champion for the first time in Qatar 2022?

While the current club level of the striker who made his debut for Sporting CP in his native country is clearly worse than that of the former husband of Brazilian top model Gisele Bndchen, it is also true that the Portuguese national team has far more talent than the Bucs have today.

Cristiano Ronaldo denies he’s the reason Tom Brady came out of retirement@PiersUncensored

What are the current situations of Cristiano Ronaldo and Tom Brady?

As for the current situations in both competitions, in both the World Cup and the NFL there are 32 teams, in Qatar 2022, Portugal is Group H favorite with Ghana, Uruguay and South Korea, while the Bucs (5-5) are the lone leaders of the NFC South over the Atlanta Falcons (4-6), Carolina Panthers (3-7) and New Orleans Saints (3-7).

CR7 said Thursday that if he reaches the final with Portugal against Argentina and he scores a hat-trick, while Lionel Messi scores two goals, he would retire, the remoteness of that scenario that was put to him by a journalist at a press conference makes it difficult to think that the striker with more goals in the history of the UEFA Champions League will say goodbye to soccer after this tournament, but it is very likely that it will be his last World Cup.

Meanwhile, after Brady’s divorce with Gisele, it is also likely that this will not be the 45-year-old’s last season in the NFL, he could even compete to reach another Super Bowl with his third franchise.

Who will retire a champion?

The bottom line is that today it seems unlikely that both Cristiano Ronaldo will win a World Cup and Tom Brady will win another Super Bowl, however, both have shown that they know how to go against the odds and beat the odds.

World Cup 2022: Bruno Fernandes gives Cristiano Ronaldo frosty greeting after his Piers Morgan interview

Cristiano Ronaldo once again stole all the headlines this week after his interview with English journalist Piers Morgan rocked the world of football.

The Portuguese striker, who is contracted to Manchester United until next summer, was overly critical of the both his club and his manager, revealing that he felt betrayed by way he’s been treated.

“I feel betrayed. Not only the coach, there are two or three more who want me out of the club. I have no respect for him (ten Hag) because he doesn’t respect me. If you have no respect for me, I will never have respect for you”, said the striker. He also called out former teammates and club legends Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville for what he perceives to be their constant and unjust criticism of him.

Ronaldo seems to have selective memory, and conveniently forgot that ten Hag made him captain in United’s Premier League match against Aston Villa, just two weeks after he stormed off the pitch when called upon during a match against Tottenham. In fact, the general opinion at United and among their fan base is that ten Hag has tried his best to accommodate Ronaldo, despite his frequent childish outbursts.

Tension in Portugal squad

It’s no surprise then that Ronald’s recent interview has caused indignation amongst both payers, fans and pundits. One such player is the Portuguese’s Manchester Untied and international teammate Bruno Fernandes. The pair recently joined up with the Portugal squad at their training camp ahead of the World Cup and the moment they saw each other for the first time since the interview was caught on camera.

As they say, ‘actions speak louder than words’ and that was certainly the case with Bruno in this encounter, who gave his international teammate an overwhelmingly frosty greeting. Fernandes looked at him like a disappointed parent, barely making eye contact and offering a weak handshake.

After the encounter, Ronaldo was clearly taken aback, staring into space for several seconds.

A good group dynamic is fundamental for a successful World Cup run, especially at this year’s addition given players have had such little time together. The two players will need to put this episode behind them before Portugal’s World Cup campaign starts on November 24 against Ghana.

Man Utd News: Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez buy the most expensive house in Portugal

Cristiano Ronaldo has already made arrangements with Erik ten Hag to return to training camp with Manchester United, but everything indicates that in January 2023 he will leave the Red Devils, and after he bought the most expensive house in Portugal, rumors began that his career will continue in his homeland.

Cristiano and Georgina’s new home

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez bought a property in the region of Cascais, Portugal, and the value of their new villa is around $11 million euros, but with the remodeling and all the construction, it reaches a price of $21 million.

The next mansion of the Portuguese star became the most expensive house in Portugal and is now under construction, so it is likely that Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano will open in early 2023 their exclusive estate in Quinta da Marinha, one of the most prestigious residential areas of the so-called Portuguese Riviera, which includes the beautiful towns of Cascais, Estoril and Sintra.

The characteristics of CR7’s new villa

The real estate agency that took charge of Ronaldo’s new mansion pointed out that the characteristics of the villa are as follows: 2,720 square meters and are three floors. The built area is 544 square meters and includes gardens and a fabulous swimming pool.

Serie A: Cristiano Ronaldo’s future may seem a little brighter as this Serie A club is seriously interested in him

Cristiano Ronaldo has one foot and a half out of Manchester United. The relationship with coach ten Hag is broken and, given the worrying lack of minutes, the striker will seek to leave in the winter market.

Chelsea sounds like a possible destination but it is not the only one interested in the player. According to the English newspaper ‘The Sun’, Napoli appears as a solid candidate to take the five-time Ballon d’Or winner to Italy.

Napoli is very interested

During the summer transfer window, there was talk of a possible move for Cristiano to Napoli. However, there were never any talks between the two clubs and the striker had to stay in England. But now the interest reappears, according to people close to the player. His signing would mark a return to Serie A, where he played three seasons with Juventus, historic rivals of the southern Italian side.

What about payment?

Napoli says he would be an important addition to a club that leads Serie A and looks like a solid team to win the ‘scudetto’. However, there is the money situation. The player of the Italian club who earns the most per week is the Polish Zielinski (102 thousand euros). Meanwhile, Cristiano’s weekly salary with United is 411 thousand euros. An abysmal difference that the club cannot reach.

Would Cristiano Ronaldo reduce his salary?

Therefore, the directors would expect a significant salary reduction from Cristiano, something that ‘The Sun’ ensures that it can be negotiated. The Portuguese understand that if he wants to change teams, his financial expectations will have to be lowered. At 37 years old, it is difficult for a European club to bet on giving him a salary similar to the one he has now with United.

A strong team

Napoli is one of the main surprises in Europe this season. They lead Serie A undefeated, with 29 points out of a possible 33 so far. They also lead their Champions League group, ahead of Liverpool, Ajax and Rangers. With 17 goals, they are the highest-scoring team in the tournament. They have a goal difference of +13, also the best in the continental competition.

Man Utd News: Cristiano Ronaldo approached Jordan Peterson for a therapy session to treat his depression

As he goes through what can probably be considered the most difficult moment of his career, Cristiano Ronaldo decided to seek out professional help. Even though he is considered an internet celebrity, folks may not realize the Jordan Peterson is actually quite the accomplished clinical psychologist. He’s published papers in the most prestigious medical journals all around the world.

The published author has often been considered a right-wing propagandist but Cristiano Ronaldo found his books very helpful. After reading one of them, the Manchester United forward decided to invite him to his home in Manchester during Peterson’s visit in the UK. About two weeks ago, Ronaldo posted an Instagram photo of him accompanied by Peterson with no further context in the publication.

Jordan was just a guest on Piers Morgan’s show and he was asked by the British presenter about his visit to Ronaldo. In the conversation, Piers revealed that Cristiano took therapy and seemed in much better shape after meeting with Jordan. But Peterson revealed many more details about their encounter. This is what Jordan said to Piers Morgan during their interview: “That’s what happens when you hang out with reprobate like me. He invited me to come and see him.

“He’d had some trouble in his life a few months ago and a friend of his sent him some of my videos and he said he’d watched those. Then he read one of my books and found it helpful, he wanted to talk. I went out to his house and we talked for about two hours. He showed me all his equipment for staying in tip-top condition, we talked about his companies. Mostly we talked about what he wanted in the future and some of the obstacles that he’s facing.”

Is Jordan Peterson Cristiano Ronaldo’s ‘Ted Lasso’?

As they discussed this mashup, Piers Morgan joked about Jordan Peterson’s role as a ‘Ted Lasso‘ figure in Cristiano Ronaldo’s life. Those to aren’t aware, this is a fictional character from the Emmy Award-winning sitcom of a motivational coach in the Premier League. Peterson liked that comparison and added: “Maybe he did realise to be missing this figure because he found it to some degree in those lectures and I always like to hear what people are up to and what they want.”

After the exchange and these revelations, it has been confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering depression and decided to seek professional help. It must be hard for one of the greatest footballers who ever lived to undergo this moment of obscurity. Hopefully, he can return to his best self as we approach the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
